HCPCs NDC Crosswalk - Information
Be advised that this is currently under development/testing phase. If you encounter any problems or wish to offer feedback, please contact us.
We utilize AddendumB (Status Indicators), ASP Drug Pricing Files (See below), RxNorm, and DailyMed to identify Single Dose Vials for the drugs, and other sources to connect all the files together.
The CMS ASP Drug Pricing Files are a set of files that contain drug pricing information for Medicare Part B drugs. These files are released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on a quarterly basis, and are used to calculate the reimbursement rates for drugs covered under the Medicare Part B program.
The ASP (Average Sales Price) Drug Pricing Files contain data on the average sales prices for drugs that are reimbursed by Medicare Part B, as well as other related pricing information such as the drug's manufacturer, product name, and National Drug Code (NDC) number.
The ASP Drug Pricing Files are used by healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders in the healthcare industry to determine the appropriate reimbursement rates for Medicare Part B drugs. They are also used to track pricing trends and changes over time, and to inform policy decisions related to drug pricing and reimbursement.
Overall, the ASP Drug Pricing Files are an important resource for ensuring that Medicare beneficiaries have access to affordable and high-quality drug treatments, and for promoting transparency and accountability in the healthcare industry.
